As early as June 5, Nexon, the developer of Maplestory announced a new Pathfinder class would be brought in the next update on June 26 along with more events at Adventure Island, a new theme dungeon and more faster leveling up via the Tera Burning Project. Before that the character pre-creation has started on June 12 which can allow players to choose their Pathfinder's features in advance. In other word, the gender, hair color and more of the characters can be designed entirely by their own. Here are all we can present on GameFO.com about the update.

In addition to the new class, the update also brings massive improvements to gameplay system to help players of all levels including refining tutorial and job advancement quests, improving rewards for low-level theme dungeons, increasing meso drops in Reboot worlds, lowering quest requirements for fifth job advancement and improving star force success rates.

In Adventure Island, players can finish the challenges including Adventure Bingo, Maplerunner, Reverse Battle in order to collect Adventure Coins for buying new goods in the Shop through the Adventure Island events.

Find a special medal in the brand new dungeon, which is also known as the Secret Forest of Elodin for the players who are between 30 and 59. The dungeon is in the south of Ellinia full of forest including the Night Howlet, Dust Bundle, Night Glimmerfox and Blue Spring Sprite. After finishing the quests, the players are allowed to get a special medal as reward.
