Just saw the flier of Boxingday sales (VERY big here in Canada) TR is on sale for as little as $24,99. Freaky.. how cheap they can make it if they want!

This can mean 2 things. A. Not al ot of players what is a huge concern for the TR community. B. The mark up on the game has been stupid high and NC Soft can see you need to sell it cheaper.

BIOSHOCK is slightly cheaper, not 50% as TR is...

Is reason to wonder regarding the game popularity... and subscriptions levels..

btw, WOW is $10 bux.

yeah, and Bliz can afford that since they have 9 million subscribers worldwide now. if you figure $12 per month for each subscriber's monthly fee, you figure Bliz ought to give out copies of WoW and its expansions for free.

yup.. was always strucken by the fact Bliz had to charge $50 for a copy of a game they gonna make nearly 240 bucks in a year off...

I don't know if u noticed, but about 30 days after the game was delivered, player levels have dropped off huge on the servers. I pop in and out of the Concordia map servers and have never found anything above Low status. Earlier in the month this was never the case. Last night, I noticed that the East US server was Medium. Odd.

I am wondering about the fall off, but it is the holidays. Let us see what happens after the new year. Could be the novelty has worn off and the cost actually hit reality in this changing economy. Could be P2P isn't going to fly anymore when ppl are eeking by paycheck to paycheck.

hmm.. today the east coast servers are loaded... medium... west coast is empty..

one of my buddies is going to play TR, but he's waiting until january. he's pretty excited about it. i'll have him look for you guys.

TR is exciting .. I think.. and love the game a lot.. certainly a video card killer (for SURE!)

If he get's on the Orion server, he certainly can expect some help.
