Consequently, I have had to face the prospect of a new clan. I am going to Exodus. I already quit Panic in game, but there is a 7-day reclanning break. Odd. I keep trying to get in, but I'll let you know how it goes.

Exodus is a PvP and PvE clan. In a PvP clan, you might get sniped by enemy clans IF you stumble into the combat zone. You will always get a warning of when it is not safe to do so. I will try it and see. i've been messing with a *** server for about 6 months now, and now it's officially running 24/7 and stable. it's patched up to 2.3.0 (although the official *** servers are up to 2.3.2). i will eventually update mine to 2.3.2 when all the bugs and kinks are worked out.

but for now, my *** server remains 2.3.0, and runs rock solid, on its own box:

2.2ghz Athlon XP
1g of ram in dual-channel
Cox broadband, 7mbit down/1mbit up (so they say).

it sits in a corner of my closet, with no other purpose than to run this *** server. the server name is AGONY (name has nothing to do with Big Agony). it requires the original *** game, with the *** expansion, patched to 2.3.0 - do not go any higher.

it is not a public server, and never will be. it is invite-only, with a player cap of 50. just in the last week i decided to make it 24/7 and start sending out invites. so far there are only a few players. i've made modifications to the server to increase level-up, experience/faction/drop rewards for mob kills and quest turn-ins. it is meant to be a fun server, so there is no sense in you spending months and months to get to the end-stuff with the best of gear. in the future i will implement npc's that actually sell the uber stuff that normally drops in dungeons and stuff.

if you are interested in trying my *** server, please contact either Big Agony or myself. this is your chance to try *** out without any fees.

Well, they told me I could customize it easy...

I right clicked on the tabs... and guess what.. a extra menu poped up.. It gave me an option to create a new tab, and slect WHAT I wanted to see go by in that channel.

Also the colours I like to see the chat pop by... WOW.. SWEET DEAL...

Still I wish in TR we can get SOME enhancements for chat..

Make it able in the clan section we can tag people like in the friend list to invite in squats or in whispers... (typing the "/" command and all the syntaxes are too much to recall at times.. please make it tag able with the mouse...

In chat make the names selectable that pop by, so we can easy chat with the people who we like or want to whisper or team up with

Make the screens more dynamic size-able and move-able, so we are not stuck with the forced places

Give us a mini map, so we can see a part of the map in a screen area, this on top of the radar options we have atm

Please put a range cicrles in the radar, gives us a bit of perspective how far foes are (don't need argo ranges, cause they tend to differ from foo to foo)

I could only auto walk, or press "Z" and run. If I released "Z" I was back to walking again. Now this was a VERY hard point into, especially in close combat and quick action moments.

Tried all and even filed a petition. Bad time of year I guess, all GM were drunk on Champagne I guess, no response as of yet.

So log-out, log-in didn't work, reboot neihter... Then a reasign the Z toggle key didn't work neither. Now I am getting upset and pissy regarding hte fact I am not getting it operational as I want it to be. My XP is hurting like hell and we can't do our favorite sport.. STRIDER/STALKER hunting..

All my other chars are not experiencing the problem at all. So the keyboard issue is resolved and not applicable. I am getting slowly gray and getting as much hair as Kojac.

Well, guess what, I recall I was mocking with the map (an very painful item I tel you since I would like to get a mini map in my normal action screen). So I tried this on my normal action screen. Press "M" (get into the map) .. Press "Z" now, and press "M" again (while holding "M") and release all and head back to the action screen and press "W" .. .

go figure.. I can run again... Now press num-lock and you are the running man.. (I rebound that key to "X") and I run my heart out ... just not when I enter a battle scene or instance... (they are too littered with baddies)

This can mean 2 things. A. Not al ot of players what is a huge concern for the TR community. B. The mark up on the game has been stupid high and NC Soft can see you need to sell it cheaper.

BIOSHOCK is slightly cheaper, not 50% as TR is...

Is reason to wonder regarding the game popularity... and subscriptions levels..
